CROCKETT The hike will highlight the work of the Civilian Conservation Corps at Mission Tejas and discussion of the history, legacy & daily life of the CCC. Tyler Amateur Radio Club will once again host the National Weather Service's (NWS) spotter training session on their Skywarn program. This NWS training sessions will be at Shiloh Road Church of Christ, corner of Shiloh Road and Paluxy in Tyler. The training will begin promptly at 10 a.m. There will be a lunch break at noon with the advance session to begin at 1 p.m. The public is invited, especially, police, fire fighters, emergency response personnel and anyone interested in being a storm spotter. A light lunch will be provided. There is no cost.
