[7:00pm] -- Classic Country Music Show
The Palestine Dogwood Jamboree will be held on at 7 p.m. at Palestine Civic Center Hwy 19 North at Loop 256. This is the eighth year for the show. There are five performances each year with Country Music Artists from all over the state as well as other states as well. The show is always new and different. It is Branson, Mo. style with comedy and great country music. At each show three young people compete for the Dogwood Jamboree Artist of the year. The winner of each show returns to the stage for the finals and receives an award and large cash prize. The audience votes on those competing. The show is family styled also and young and old all participate. Dates for future shows are given below.
