Concert Description: Guest conductor Jean-François Rivest leads the East Texas Symphony Orchestra in a program of dance music, including Leonard Bernstein’s beloved Symphonic Dances from the smash Broadway musical “West Side Story.” Max Pollak, named on of the top dancers to watch by Dance Magazine, joins the ETSO for Morton Gould’s rarely performed Tap Dance Concerto. The evening concert also includes music by Prokofiev and Borodin.
