Mission: The Smith County Medical Society Alliance is open to all spouses of physicians who are eligible for membership in the Smith County Medical Society. The Alliance assists in charitable and health educational projects in Smith County and works to maintain closer fellowship among the members. The only fundraiser for the 501(c) 3 nonprofit group is the biannual SCMSA Book Fair, which raises monies for health-related scholarships at Tyler Junior College and The University of Texas at Tyler.
