Mission:
Smith County Republican Women exists to promote an informed electorate through political education; to increase the effectiveness of women in the cause of good government through active political participation; to foster loyalty to the Republican Party and to promote its ideals. The club offers educational programs and activities which encourage member and visitor involvement in the local, state and national political process. Various fundraisers, notably the December cookie auction, provide club funds to support the election of local, state and federal Republican candidates and to support community projects. The group provides dictionaries to area schools and needed items for military troops and their families, in addition to many other community activities.
